We provide financing for new boat purchases through our industry partners, Sheffield Financial and Intercoastal Financial Group (IFG). Terms are available for up to 20 years for qualified buyers. Please note that we do not offer financing for pre-owned inventory.

Which boat brands are available at IBOF?

We are authorized dealers for the world’s premier inflatable and RIB manufacturers, including AB Inflatables, Zodiac, Walker Bay, Highfield, Zodiac MilPro, Ranieri International, and Achilles. This diverse portfolio allows us to provide everything from lightweight roll-ups to luxury Italian-style RIBs and tactical offshore vessels.

Service & Maintenance

What specific services does the IBOF Marine Center provide?

We are a comprehensive service facility. Our core capabilities include outboard maintenance, fiberglass and hull repair, inflatable tube restoration, electronics troubleshooting, custom rigging, and steering system calibration.

Do you perform warranty maintenance on outboards?

As authorized dealers of Honda, Suzuki, Tohatsu, and Yamaha, we are certified to perform all scheduled maintenance and authorized warranty repairs for your outboards. Entrusting your service to us ensures your factory warranty remains valid, and your service records stay up to date.

Do you perform fiberglass and structural hull repairs?

Yes. Our service department is fully equipped to handle fiberglass and gelcoat repairs, ranging from minor cosmetic touch-ups to major structural work. We ensure the rigid hull of your RIB is maintained to the same high standard as the inflatable tubes.

Do you provide lifting cables and hardware for yacht tenders?

We specialize in yacht tender integration and can specify, supply, and manufacture custom lifting points, spreader bars, and high-strength lifting cables tailored to your vessel’s specifications. While we do not perform the physical installation of davit systems on the primary yacht, we ensure your tender is equipped with the precise hardware required for safe hoisting.

Are your technicians factory-certified?

Our technical team consists of elite, factory-trained professionals who hold specialized certifications for Yamaha and Honda. This includes Yamaha Master Tech status—the highest level of outboard training achievable in the industry. Furthermore, we employ Master Liferaft Technicians dedicated to specialized safety equipment. Our facility and staff maintain full USCG/SOLAS compliance and hold individual certifications from every liferaft brand we service, ensuring the highest standards of safety and reliability.

Technical Specifications & Use Cases

How do I choose between a tiller-steer and a console RIB?

Tiller-steer models are generally lighter, more portable, and offer maximized deck space, making them ideal for simple shore transport. Console models provide a traditional “big boat” experience with a steering wheel, remote throttle, and integrated storage, which is preferable for longer cruises or water sports.

Can a RIB be utilized for towing skiers or inflatable tubes?

Yes. Most RIBs 10 feet and larger are excellent for light towing. For dedicated water sports, we recommend models equipped with integrated tow arches or reinforced transom towing eyes to ensure loads are distributed safely across the hull.

Is it safe to store my inflatable boat in the water?

While Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBs) are designed for marine environments, long-term submersion requires proactive care. For vessels kept in the water, we recommend utilizing a floating lift or applying high-quality bottom paint to the hull to prevent hull fouling. To preserve the integrity of the inflatable tubes, we strongly suggest using a full boat cover when the vessel is not in use. This is the most effective way to protect the materials from UV degradation, ensuring the longevity of your investment.

What are the recommended hurricane protocols for my vessel?

Ideally, the vessel should be removed from the water and stored in a secure, indoor facility. If the boat must remain on a yacht or dock, the tubes should be slightly deflated to account for pressure changes, and all loose accessories, cushions, and bimini tops must be removed and secured.

What is the expected lifespan of an inflatable boat?

With proper maintenance, a high-quality Hypalon (CSM) vessel can last 15–20 years. PVC vessels typically have a lifespan of 5 years, particularly in tropical climates. Consistent UV protection and proper pressure management are the most critical factors in maximizing longevity.

What is the difference between Hypalon (CSM) and PVC tube fabrics?

Hypalon (CSM) is a synthetic rubber known for its superior resistance to UV rays, chemicals, and extreme temperatures, making it the ideal choice for the Florida climate. PVC is a lighter, more economical option suitable for folding boats stored away from the sun. Most of our premium inventory utilizes Hypalon for maximum durability and resale value.

Parts & Accessories

Can I purchase OEM parts directly from IBOF?

Yes. We maintain an extensive inventory of OEM parts for major outboard brands and inflatable boat manufacturers. If a specific part is not in stock at one of our four locations, we can facilitate rapid delivery through our distribution network.

What accessories are recommended for a new yacht tender?

Commonly requested upgrades include specialized chocks (such as Chock Masters) for yacht decks, underwater LED lighting, premium JL Audio systems, and custom-tailored boat covers to protect against environmental exposure.

Liferaft Certification

Why is regular liferaft certification necessary?

For commercial vessels, USCG certification is a legal mandate. For recreational boaters, regular servicing ensures that the CO2 inflation system and the structural integrity of the raft remain functional for a life-saving emergency.

Which brands of liferafts are you authorized to service?

We are authorized to service and certify leading brands across both sectors. Our commercial certifications include Survitec, Zodiac Survitec, RFD, DBC, Revere, and Elliot. For recreational users, we are fully equipped to handle Revere Recreational, Plastimo, and Survival Products.

If you are unsure of your raft’s specific requirements, please contact us with your model and serial number.

Logistics & Trade-Ins

Does IBOF accept trade-ins?

Yes. We accept high-quality inflatable boats and RIBs as trade-ins toward the purchase of a new vessel. We also offer professional brokerage services for high-value yacht tenders.

Does IBOF provide "Mobile Service" options?

While complex technical work—such as rigging and tube bonding—must be performed at our service hubs to ensure a controlled environment, we can coordinate mobile technicians for specific engine maintenance or on-site project evaluations.

Do you offer delivery services to yachts or private residences?

Yes. We operate our own fleet of trailers and delivery vehicles. We regularly coordinate deliveries to marinas and private residences throughout Florida and can assist with international shipping logistics for global yacht tenders.
