As a Junior Rigger, Nicholas Allmond represents the future of IBOF’s in-house technical capability, actively contributing to the high-volume service and new build departments. In a market where precision rigging is paramount, Nicholas is focused on supporting the seamless assembly of power, electronic, and structural systems for both tenders and recreational vessels.
Nicholas was recruited from McFatter Technical College, where he specialized in comprehensive marine assembly and boat repair. He currently works in a critical apprenticeship role alongside IBOF’s senior technicians, actively absorbing essential knowledge regarding manufacturer specifications and advanced rigging techniques. This dedication to continuous learning ensures that IBOF maintains a consistently high standard of technical expertise for the future.
A native of South Florida, Nicholas’s passion for the water and marine mechanics was cultivated from a young age. When not at IBOF, he remains closely connected to the coastal environment, frequently spending time as a dedicated angler along the local coastline.
